Members get the "I wanna stream but don't wanna feel stressed about it" treatment. She needs to fulfill the obligation for members content but also doesn't want to feel like it's a requirement. I'm fine with it since we get even cuter Kiara moments when she doesn't have to focus on entertaining her audience as much plus she genuinely still cares about her members but yeah it still does seem really cheap. We've had plenty of great members streams recently so I don't really mind sacrificing this one since people still love the watchalongs and there hasn't been one in a while. It's just unfortunate that she chose to put them under members content

The one where she was depressed in the first half. The one before that was a watchalong too. The one before that was Digikomi after talk (basically crap content)
Then drawing stream (only good stream so far) and then hobbit watchalong shit.

Basically, most of her members streams are actually worse content than her public streams which makes no sense to me. They should be better, since it's for her most loyal members.
I'm not as schizo about it as the other anon we had here a few weeks agos but I completely agree with him. Her members content really sucks with very few exceptions.

I just don't feel it's a waste.
Her telling us about Austria during Sound of Music, her rooting for Biblo during The Hobbit was as well, her nostalgia during Lord of the Rings - all of this was super adorable.
During normal streams she has her "no dead air" autism but it's less pronounced in member streams; chilling with Kiara while watching movies is something I genuinely love and I don't think we would get her to be so calm and relaxed outside of a member environment.

The sad thing is that she doesn't understand this. The very biggest debuff of her is not her voice or her games. It's her stream time. Almost every profressional streamer with some experience will tell you it's best to have consistent stream times instead of doing it randomly. I still remember that advice from that CohhCarnage guy. He said at first he was brute forcing it, doing veryl ong streams at random times and it didn't work out for him until he started to stream at the same times every day.

they're pretty good if you ask me, just make sure to temper your expectations. Your Name's ridiculously long theater run and hype that took forever to reach the states was part of why I didn't like it that much when I first saw it. I enjoyed it a lot more on a second watch a couple years later. Of course it's been 5 years since it came out now so perhaps it's easier to watch it without getting caught up in hype.

I'm anxious to watch more Shinkai. I liked 5cm/s, but it was like 15 years ago, now when I think about it I don't see myself enjoying it. Characters are too naive, too dramatic. They're too young and I'm too old to relate to their silly problems. I remember people shitting on "Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo" but I actually really loved that movie, it's so Ghibli - adventure and fantasy and mystery and all the good stuff.

Shinkai movies are not character-driven, they're centered on a theme or a feeling. For example, 5 CM/S is about distance, loneliness. Every single scene in that movie conveys that theme to the point where it gets so overwhelming that you can feel it.
