My problem with the ones I tried was the actual writing. I don't know if I'm just getting jaded or depressed or something, but in addition to BG3 I also tried Pathfinder, PoE, and OS2, and nothing about them really stood out or captivated me so I lost interest very early on. I played the DA games a long time ago and I remember Origins good and the others getting progressively worse, so I don't know if I'd like ME.
I don't mind if there's no combat, so I'm downloading Disco Elysium now.
