Funnily enough, it's the exact problem most of IRyS's early EN songs suffered from, where you're hitting the wrong words and syllables at the wrong points of the melody. It has a real ESL quality to it where you end up with things like the middle syllable of a word being the one emphasized, or having to drag out a syllable for an extra beat/compress syllables together just to keep with the original melody. *Technically* the lyrics in those songs weren't ESL-quality in the sense that they were at least proper English, but they don't sound or flow naturally.
A good translation followed by a good adaptation of that translation into proper lyrics results in a good song. Nerissa's cover was fantastic on that front so I'm very optimistic moving forward.
