[Gurame Deets] After HoloMyth returned from stopping the destruction of the AmeBee timeline, Gura began to hear voices in her head. After weeks of headaches and hallucinations, she stumbled into an underwater grotto on an unmarked island. Inside, the voices beckoned to her with with alluring words that no human had ever heard, for this was the domain of a fragment of ancient existence that crashed there 66 million years ago. Using the remnants of the atlantean village from before the fall, it called the shark princess there and pulled her into its darkness; the corrupting mycelia. With the pillar complete, the dark subterranean kingdom began to expand. By the time Ame tracked her down, the fragment of the Ancient One had begun to threaten their Myth City. So Amelia, Mori, Ina, and Kiara dove deep into the cavern, burning a path through horrifying shades and terrifying beasts. However, but the time they reached Gura, she had become more mold that human. The evil around them tightened its grip and the members of HoloMyth began to falter but Amelia knew that her Gura had not yet disappeared. Even as the shadows pulled at her ankles and the tendrils grew into her skin, she cut her way into the ritual circle and freed Gura from the fungal growth binding her; holding her tightly in her arms she gave the sharkgirl a kiss. With the curse broken, the dark kingdom crumbled and the evil fragment was banished by phoenix fire, octopus spells, and the power of death.
anyways that's why ame had to delay that one time recently and why gooba couldn't solve that laser puzzle (mold brain). She might have brought some back to her house but it should be mostly benign. she probably has mold powers in future adventures going forward though.
