>>9167880Let's get serious here.
Back in the /jp/ days they were scared they'll be injecting politics into their little fantasy AND THEY WERE RIGHT but no one gives a single shit about the twitch indies which shit up the platform
>NUMBERSNUMBERSNUMBERSAlso back in /jp/ days this was discussed, kizuna ai was always top of the subs, so where were the viewers, meanwhile her kohai's got more consistent VIEWS on their static videos, and shitposter kaguya luna proved that, few videos, but high viewer count, and climbing subs, sadly all for nothing due to set backs.
Gura is only top of the subs because her previous fanbase were memers following for teh memez and that ballooned because people see big numbers and get the illusion of talent, I find gura funny, but she isn't 3 million subs funny, but EN as a whole got a massive sub boost thanks to branding and appealing to a much larger audience
JP holo's worked hard to get their million subs considering how tiny japan is, EOP and "curiosity" subs aren't sustainable
As for nijisanji EN I feel their numbers are a more accurate measure for their fanbase, and because they're alot more open to themselves and not catering to idol faggatory it filters basement dwellers who want the girls and guys all to themselves.
My /jp/ days may be over but this tribal faggatory is not, so I say this, like who you like and who you don't fuck off don't sub don't NOTHING, just know this, if you want your safe space stick to hololive, if you want more honest streamers go nijisanji, but unless you know Japanese you'll never get the full experience that we had back then
