>>37811048Good question! The answer to that depends on which department you're applying to. Since it's ML / DL, python is a must. Make sure you're comfortable writing scripts, understanding basic data structures. Be familiar with numpy - pandas. Knowing and having used TF / torch would be even better.
If it's the data science dept, it might be slightly different. You will likely play more of the data exploration role, so make sure you can plot graphs.
Oh and for both, make sure you're already familiar with git / github. Brownie points for that.
But if your hands are already wet, then I wouldn't worry so much. My experience with interns was great when they already know how to code, so I can just introduce them to the world of AI. Which mostly involves using well-oiled frameworks to do AI things.
The problem comes when I have to teach them both ML/DL stuff AND how to code.
