Now maybe there are some digital tools out there that I don't know of that these artists could use to make their art blow up a LoRA or model trained on them, but I would never bet against AI simps in a technology arms race over digital artists. In short, they need to deal with the same problem facing a ton of white collar workers right now: adapt to the advent of AI and add value in that new ecosystem, or eventually be replaced (unless you are really good at what you do).

>>49243661I would add that I agree with this anon's second point. Proper Google searching, effective ChatGPT querying, and competent SD prompting are all acquired learning skills. I know I've spent hundreds of hours by now learning how to make images with AI and make them less shit than the ones I made in the past. No one has voluntarily compensated me for that skill yet (I have a fanbox but do not gate any content behind it), but those who choose to go that route have at least some merit, in my opinion, to be compensated for their time and skill.
