>>42259581I think she will if she actually talks to an experienced person at the rescue/shelter. It's good that she's concerned about being able to provide for it, because she'll likely end up surprised at how low maintenance an adult (2 years+) cat can be. If she's willing to let them pick a cat for her instead of just going with what she finds cutest they can easily match her with a cat that doesn't need constant attention and can just chill and sleep while she's working but still likes affection and cuddles.
