When it comes to things like severe depression you really gotta be proud of the little things you do to keep yourself happy, even if it might seem insignificant it's better than doing nothing. I've seen people who lost teeth due to being completely unable to even brush their teeth because they were too depressed to leave their bed, or were constantly drugged up that they can barely be considered conscious of time. Getting started again is difficult but you can start off with small goals, like jogging for an hour each week or cutting down on the amount of take-out food/snacks/whatever. It gets easier the more you do it, even if you have to force yourself in the beginning to get the gears churning. You and others will notice your progress eventually and you'll feel proud of yourself for doing it, one step at a time, ganbatte!
