>>21109939Not in the geology department, unfortunately. I think someone else in this thread is more knowledgeable in that regard.
>>21107198Yeah, a while ago I mentioned about helping with the road project. I'm not too sure about /meat/ being a source of cheap/reliable labour (which was originally mentioned), but I think /meat/ might be more suited for providing help regarding building roads through a (seasonal) tropical forest - /risu/ knows their homeland well, but I don't think they have a lot of infrastructure experience, while /infinity/ seems quite skilled in construction projects but I don't imagine them being very adjusted to the tropical environment. /meat/ lives in a similar enough environment while having already built quite a lot of stuff at their home should mean they can provide the expertise.
/meat/ has also promised to help /risu/ in terms of getting them up to speed with the whole metal thing, as mentioned in
>>21107832. Having tools from /inf/ to help kickstart it will definitely help as well. The idea's that we'll be teaching /risu/ how to find and use bog iron, and once they have enough domestic tools to make better ironsmiths and forges, we can probably get more iron and other metal from the laterite soil (I still can't find how people get iron from that IRL, but I assume it's doable). We also talked about helping /risu/ with ships and sailors while they're building their first seafaring ships.
>>21109991It's probably safe to say /meat/'s one of the least judgemental threads in this board because of the kind of shit we're already into, so that probably plays a role.
