Ergo, the males are undesirable to the guys, and the females are undesirable to the girls.
So how does mixing males into the female's streams make the content better? Or vice versa.
If you mix a type of food you really love, with a type of food you really hate, don't you get something mediocre at best?
Case in point, everyone remembers fondly the days of the Lazulight and Obsydia girls, before the males invaded their streams. That was some of the best content they ever produced.
We also find something else. Not only is the *gender* of the fans different between males and females, but the location as well. The fans of the males are mostly from Asia, and thus they achieve their highest numbers in the Asian timeslot. While the fans of the girls are mostly from North America, and thus they achieve their highest numbers in the North American timezone.
So with two radically different fanbases with nothing in common, and entirely different preferences, wouldn't mixing them together be a huge mistake?
Just because "it's nijisanji" is not an argument.
