Random archiving info I'm sharing because it might be mildly interesting. I automatically archive streams from all the boys' channels. I store the live archive MP4s in batches of 60 VODs in external hard drives to be later replaced with much more compressed WEBMs when those are available. Currently it takes 3-4 days to accumulate 60 VODs and these folders are averaging about 215GB each in size. I archive most of the boys in 720p to save space, but there are a handful I archive in 1080p out of preference. When I replace with WEBMs (when available) I'll often adjust the resolution according to the stream, e.g. handcams I like to store as 1080p and zatsus are more likely to be 720p. I only started archiving in November of last year, however, so I have a separate project to fully back up the channels of the boys. I use ytarchive for monitoring channels and yt-dlp for downloading everything else, though I have now learned how to use yt-dlp to archive live as a backup if ytarchive shits the bed again. Doing the teamup has actually helped a lot with all this in terms of ensuring my channel monitors haven't missed anything.
