There exists a finite number of oilbarons in this world. Debut more girls, and the barons will just spread around. This is called market saturation.
Even if you went to pour more money on them and deliver a "better product" there is no guarantee you would get more oilers.
What should they do with the extra income then? Logically, they should try to appeal to markets different than they usually target to. Regloss tried to get the female market with female talents with their designs, and Holostars the fujo market instead.
So what if the holostars bring 100 times less money than the girls? Every buck they bring would have never being brought by the girls in the first place. This is why Mc Donalds offer salads even if people barely touch that garbage.
Debut more girls and all the girls would just make less money individually. Bring in new markets and you wont have to compete with yourself.
Now of course the alternative is to try to bring in new markets for the girls you already have. Now think carefully if you want that instead: it would mean appealing to normies and ironic weebs, and the Connor/ trashtalk arc was as bad if not worse than the Holostar arc. Be careful what you wish for.
