Sakamata asked Mio if she found Timberborn fun, she might play it someday.
A Castle Full of Cats was fun. Mio obtained permissions rather quickly when she submitted the permission application, and she'd like for other holos to try the game as well. Recently she's been hunting for games and asking permissions for them. She hopes she'll get permissions.
>Projects
In two weeks, she'll do a collab project she's been working on. And then also do an announcement (likely anniversary stuff). Mio hopes everyone will look forward to it. The end of the year is always a busy period for her, she's got a lot of things to do this year as well. After the annual mario kart tourney she usually can rest for a bit, but she's leaving the existence of 2024's tourney up in the air.
>Album
The album won't be sold physically nationwide because of the varying stocks and store-dependent exclusive goods, which made Mio want it to be centralized on the hololive official shop. Furthermore, Mio likes singing but her musical career isn't her main focus which made staff concerned about her sales for her album and lead to the decision of not selling it on storefronts. Mio feels fine with it because the first album will be a good measure for her next venture, she'll work hard for her second album/EP to be able to be sold on stores. Mio actually doesn't know well the other holos' albums have been selling, nor has she been told how many albums have been ordered so she's nervously excited about her album sales. Mio does feel optimistic about her prospects, she might be able to make another album and eventually a sololive. She hopes Miofa will be able to enjoy the songs in the album.
>MioP
Mio wants to explore the types of songs she's able to make as she's been given quite a few opportunities with the sports fes songs and one of her album songs. Still, it was quite difficult to make a full song which lead to her seeking assistance. She'd like to make a full song one day, ideally with her also doing the arrangement. There are many things she'd like to try out but her "eureka moment" tendencies might not fit with what she wants to do.
All of the songs she's made thus far have been on the cheerful side, like how this year's sports fes song is very "anime opening"-esque and last year's song is denpa-esque. Mio was told by the other music experts it may be a testament on her innate cheerfulness. She'd like to try making a darker song in the future.
Mio finds writing to be more difficult compared to composing, Mio can use her instincts with composing but not with writing lyrics; even arranging might be easier because she's had times where she had an idea for how certain parts should be arranged but didn't know how to express it. She's also had moments where she makes her own melodies when memorizing and singing songs. Mio then wonders if she could be a vocaloP. No confidence in writing lyrics though. Mio makes a tangent on how perseverance is needed to do anything well, even when learning. She does have a dream to be sought out for her writing and composing skills, she'll study more for that dream. Mio then lays out her process of song-writing: from acapella melody to writing lyrics to matching the metronome and then submitting her work. Of course, she practices the song until she's ready before submitting it.
>Lessons
Recently she's been seeing lots of online courses pop up, the ones where you pay a monthly subscription and watch videos. Mio herself has been following ones for composing as she's got a song in her head she wants to make. Mio finds enjoyment in online courses because you can skip unnecessary or basic information in the videos, like how an excel course began with how to plug in and turn on a computer. Live lessons? It'd be nice if she could do it with the instructor knowing she is Ookami Mio, otherwise it'd be weird to be inquired about things like her occupation. It's a really annoying question to answer.
>SMOK
Tomorrow (today) is a collab with SMOK at 22 on her channel. They'll be chilling while playing a game. Offcollab? No, playing at home. SMOK collabs are always fun so she's also looking forward to it. They hang out often too, sometimes they'll randomly arrange a time to get in a group call. Escape room with SMOK? They haven't really done one, Mio usually goes out with Suisei, Towa, Mel, Fubuki, and Koyo for those. It's a fun group too but they are always so purposeful, with SMOK it's one of those abrupt "Check this out!" from friends where everyone will gather and chat. Mio also tends to go on dates with Fubuki and Ayame. Mio then recalls to a time when she got her fortune told, the old lady said her surroundings will change in the first half of the year but Mio doesn't feel like that's happened. Fortune telling isn't that accurate anyway, Mio says. The old lady also said she could do this job until she's a grandma. Mio then says she sometimes uses fortune-telling for affirmation and comfort.
