>>69079086A lot of this stuff we know about what's happening inside Nijisanji came from Zaion after she was terminated last year. She leaked everything she could that wouldn't get her in legal trouble. Initially, she was not believed too much. She had only been with the company for two months, and sometimes new hires don't work out. People thought the termination letter was over the top but at the time mostly believed Anycolor.
The problem for Nijisanji was, after Zaion left, more Livers began graduating and retiring. Some spoke out about their experiences at Nijisanji, and they backed up significant chunks of Zaion's stories and claims. There were also people who claimed to be leakers in the company posting here, and most of those leaks turned out to be right.
By the time we got to late 2023, when the Selen drama had begun, opinion of Nijisanji and the EN branch in particular was extremely negative in the Western vTubing community. People were beginning to ask why the hell Anycolor couldn't get its house in order and why their oshis were all leaving and getting fed up with the company.
Then in very quick succession Pomu and Selen, their top two female vTubers, were graduated/terminated, and while Pomu left under ostensibly good terms, she dropped big hints the company had not been treating her well. When Niji idiotically revealed in the termination letter that Selen had been bullied to the point of suicide, fan rage exploded and is probably going to destroy the EN branch and do permanent damage to Nijisanji as a whole.
