>>68846385Well there's three levels to this, on the EN side by itself it wouldn't do much damage to cover or yagoo, beggars already practically act like antis towards the main branch, negative reactions would come the least from here, but the problem is what comes next
Given her reaction to previous events, there's no doubt Fubuki would HIGHLY disapprove all of holostars being canned, not for anything they directly did, but a change in direction for the company they couldn't predict, especially since she's clearly friends with more than a few. Even if she didn't quit, any action proportional to those she took in the past towards the fans, now being towards the company, would cause many to become very disillusioned at best or hostile at worst to Hololive's management, given just how big Fubuki is, not only counting her fans but the countless people who despite not following her, still take her as a moral pillar of Hololive, whatever comes from her decides the JP's reaction at large
JP's Holostars fanbase on the other side will have a much bigger backlash, due to Hololive being more niche when they debuted, when Holostars came out several of them had friendly relationships with their kouhai, people like Roberu, Aruran and Oga acquired massive male followings that came from the other JP's which had mainly, men who liked idols as their fans, unlike the EN side where they were raised on a time filled with female fans to make up their fanbases, there's no way for the JP side to shift the opinion towards it being negative towards the girls or the company at large, the general sentiment souring for them after such an event would be a lot more noticeable than with the EN side, even if the EN side has a bigger disposition to become hostile
