I should mention that I am one of the delusional ones that would love to wife a certain fish.
The reason you want to be honest and not hide it is for those viewers, and she likely has a lot of them. Not knowing is worse than knowing, for sure.
I'm sane enough to realize there's like a .001% chance of success. But I've been in love with the personality ever since the beginning.
During my relationship I was not allowed to watch vtubers, so I ended up missing most of her content. And then shortly after it ended, she graduated.
Upon thinking on it some, the worry of being unrelatable makes sense. But then you just really need to try to not talk about your relationship too much outside of mentioning you're in one - once, and so people know. They also need to be someone you're not going to want to "fix" or the relationship won't last.
Also, be sure to ask them if they have any STDs. I've been in one relationship, one Loooong relationship, and I've got herpes for the rest of my life. My sister on the other hand caught it from someone who didn't tell her he had it.
It could be a worse one, I guess, but it does suck.
