it's a real pity cause you can tell from the early core wiritng that they had great ideas and that it could have gone somewhere. it only went to shit once the full studio mobilized behind it.
for instance, the church people's argument for the existance of God as an ontological neccessity was actually really fucking solid. not because I agree or disagree, but because they went out of their way to not reddit up such a complex subject and addressed it more seriously than most people could even in school. then they just.. went full disney half way into it
