>>10243809Sometimes 1 hour, sometimes 8 hours, depends on my mood. Lately I've been more able to concentrate for longer and dedicate myself more to drawing. If I'm really not feeling it I just either go look for some references or go look for tutorials if I wanna do something different and maybe do some quick sketches of ideas to draw later. Sketching without caring for good lineart and just doodling the ideas is good too since now you don't have to waste time thinking later since you have your doodles and sketches ready. You can also just do figure/gesture drawing mindlessly(JPs call it croquis) and that passively improves skills for drawing characters.
Now, don't take me that seriously, I've just been drawing just for a month, I'm a complete noob baby compared to anyone that has been at this for longer, but I think I've had good progress, more progress than I've ever had before. I want to keep going as far as I can right now.
Shitposting and playing videogames is so much easier though. Spending 5 hours drawing is exhausting and kinda boring at times, meanwhile I can shitpost or play videogames easily for +5 hours any day.
