Just draw objects around your room. Sometimes, it's really as simple as that. Like take a glass of water or a soda can and just sketch it as best as you can but you're not going to be van Gogh in a day. Stuff like shading is important too, so do it when the sun is shining in your room or with a lamp on for extra practice on how the light hits the object and where the shadows lie.

Well look at really niche past gen Holos like say Choco. They are barely talked about on /vt/ anymore. I worry especially when we get a new EN generation soon, Ina is just going to become more niche. She doesn't seem to "care" about being competitive like you say but it might be too late for her to start caring when it actually matters. I just want her to do well and be rewarded for her work, and have a positive future in Hololive, that's all. I know maybe some of you guys aren't long-term Hololive watchers so you haven't seen what happens when a Holo fades into obsolescence before.

I get what you're saying, but Ina has a massive following as is, and her chill attitude is part of her appeal. She's lucky to be able to take things at her own pace and still be one of the top Vtubers in the world, and she's financially secure as well so she has no worries on that front. I've noticed a lot of teamates are becoming tentacultists as of late, myself included.

Very little of it is an act, which is why her behaviour depends a lot on the mood of the stream. But I don't see her having been sassier before, she is sassier when she isn't drained and tired from work like is a lot more now than she used to be.
Of course like all Holos "some" of it is an act, but thats mostly the cleaning up bits where she doesn't talk about certain things or in certain ways.

If you watch her very first streams she sounded very quiet and monotonous. There was a definitely a point where she suddenly started speaking louder and with more emotion. I think Enma or somebody must have suggested it, but it was probably also something to do with her getting more comfortable with streaming.
I don't remember her ever being sassier. Her personality has remained pretty consistent since debut.

I'd say that not much, she does the anime girl roleplay quite a bit (making cutesy noises, especially while eating etc), but I remember thinking that she's riding a thin line between her roomate and the holo avatar after her debut (same "1 braincell" jokes, puns etc).

I actually finished getting all the achievements a week or two before Ina announced Hollow Knight week. I thought I would be sick of it but watching her play has actually made me open the game back up and do a couple of randomizer runs that I've enjoyed a lot.

This is from the time she went back to the first gesture drawing to see how much we've improved. I've always been terrible at drawing and even gave up on it years ago because of it, but Ina encouraged me to draw again. I still suck at it, but I've been enjoying these weekly streams a lot. I also try to draw fanarts of her when I have motivation, they don't look good but drawing what I like is fun. Sorry for the blogpost.

I played it way back, I think Hidden Dreams came out when I was mid-playthrough. After I finished, I came back for Grimm Troupe, and later came back again for Godhome, but I didn't finish it. Still have the game installed, but I don't have the motivation to go through all those boss rushes.

I don't like talking about vtubers' roommates because of their privacy but in Ina's case it kinda feels like ignoring who Inuyama Tamaki and Pochimaru are. Obviously it's not comparable because those two are open about it, but in the sense that Ina's roommate is an active professional artist whose work I really love, it feels hard not putting my feelings for her and her roommate in the same basket

Personally, I like when artists include them. We barely see her tentacles on stream so it's nice to see them somewhere else, even Ina avoids drawing them when she's drawing herself (most likely to save time). In my case, I avoid drawing her tentacles because they are too hard to draw and I already have a hard time drawing her with my skills.

I generally like to separate art from artist as much as possible because people are often disappointing and I don't like letting it color my appreciation of the content.
And ina herself, the entire persona, is content in a way, same with every Holo, so I strongly ignore anything related to roommates. If I see old roomate art I just think that "Ina" made it.
