long and short of it is that originally Kronii and Fauna were very close in hololive and then at some point in 2023 onwards Kronii suddenly stopped collabing with her and would make a point of just not interacting with her at all such as not saying anything to her in any collabs she was a part of. People were baffled for a long time wtf caused this change and at first people said that people noticing the change in behavior was just them being schizo but over time it became too obvious too ignore. Kronii had nothing to say to Fauna or her fans even after Fauna announced her graduation and even during the graduation itself when Fauna did call-ins to say goodbyes Kronii was still awkward and even alluded to the fact they had hadn't interacted much in recent times. Kronii also started making 'ironic' sexist woman bad jokes such as randomly esoterically warning another holo that women are bad news and to stay away from them.
Nobody really knew what any of this meant, they just know something had happened behind the scenes that had made Kronii turn against Fauna and start being cold to her; after Fauna left people were left just continuing with 'Kronii had a yuri fallout with her haha' tier rrats or just putting it down to her being mad about Fauna choosing to graduate.
But now with this latest news from Nimi it looks a LOT different in hindsight and this is probbaly the real reason all along. Worth noting: during the whole fiasco the majority opinion was that Kronii was acting like a bitch and probably had some petty menhera reason for doing it to Fauna and she would regularly be criticized and shitposted for it here so this is like vindication for her.
