>>106225222>Hololive in particular suffered a suffered drop in viewership, losing almost one quarter of their watch time compared to Q2It always needs to be said. Watch time is a completely useless metric only peddled by schizos with an agenda and retards. VSTATS is both of those things at once. Consider this Totally Unrelated Metric* for EN specifically
>Q2 2025 Hours StreamedMyth 574
Promise 492
Advent 821
Justice 620
Total = 2507 Hours
>Q3 2025 Hours StreamedMyth 496
Promise 426
Advent 626
Justice 403
Total = 1951 Hours
1951 / 2507 = 0.778 = 22.2% drop in hours streamed. Now what if you were to read a post that said this
>Hololive EN streamed almost 25% fewer hours compared to Q2, causing their watch time to drop by almost 25% compared to Q2See how all of a sudden the drop in watch time doesn't sound surprising whatsoever now that you know how the hours streamed changed? In fact, you would probably assume that were true if the post only said EN streamed 25% fewer hours.
That is why hours streamed is useless. It is never worth talking about because you have no way of determining whether hours streamed or average CCV decreased.
After all, the only way to calculate hours watched for Youtube streamers is by multiplying hours streamed * average CCV. That means anyone who posts hours watched numbers must have both of those more useful numbers in order to calculate it.
Because you are required to have both numbers, it is always intellectual dishonesty to only post hours watched without sharing at least one of those numbers to explain any delta.
And that's why I said it's only peddled by schizos and retards. Schizos know what they're doing by hiding the actually useful numbers, retards don't know better.
