The real question is, why should it take a year? Considering that:

- Nepotism picks.
- Most hires are experienced chuubas that are well acquainted with L2D tech
- Cover uses premade designs
- Fans weren't to into the animated lore

There's really no reason that a next gen should take year. Ideally, they should just release EN 3 in March, after all the Holidays including Valentines are over, but you know Cover, they'll just pack that the EN3 in the middle of a busy month like August or September.

Companies that care about their talents give them a year to establish a fanbase before dumping another gen onto the market. It would be really stupid and wasteful to do something like release 4 gens of talent in a 6 month period, it robs all the attention from each preceding gen before they can get their max potential following.

EN3 won't happen. Unless they simply just pick nepotism hires, the talent is no longer there for an EN3. Those chosen for HoloEN 2 show the Hololive brand doesn't have the talent pull it once did and we may have to accept EN2 is the last generation.

If there's anyone that should and is most likely graduate from PRISM it's Aoi

Aoi is completely mishandled by PRISM, it's about as bad as Seru from VirPro. How can anyone who hear Aoi's roommate nerdy anime dub voice and assign her to that avatar generic fox avatar.

Prism would have the least to lose from a graduated Aoi and HoloEN 3 would have the most to gain from hiring her.
