If Gura is playing Metroid Dread on day 1 why wasn't she part of the Nintendo promotional streaming thing? No doubt she will destroy the viewership of most of the people on that list. Yeah but my thinking was that JP's titan is Pekora but they also have super super strong Mikos and Marines right next to her. Gura is so far ahead of every other EN its insane. Kronii has shown the most promise of at least being somewhat on her level so far but I honestly still think that eventually Mumei is going to catch on big and be the strong #2 for EN. There is just something about her that keeps me at that belief every time I watch her.

Obviously Calli is a wildcard and is a titan herself when you consider her music. It could be like Gura = Pekora, Mumei = Miko, Calli = Suisei.

In terms of interest, I actually liked Millie. That opening was Kino. Numbers-wise they're kind of a disappointment since they didn't even get better numbers than Obsydia. A wild prediction that I will throw out there right now after confirming that Millie is Lyrica, is that she's going to overtake Elira in subs and possibly Selen in CCV in the next 3-4 months. Why? Does anyone think NiniEN is releasing waves after waves just to starve HoloEN of talents? Like if you're an indie and a big company like NijiEN is hiring constantly, you would want to apply there instead of HoloEN, which is much harder and more competitive to get in. Niji also provides a lot of support and merch. I think that if NijiEN continues to release more waves like this, it might actually reduce Cover's hiring pool significantly despite Hololive's brand recognition.

Anon, Subaru disclosed that in her interview they asked her if she knew any vtuber. She said something like Kizuna AÍ and some Obaasan novelty vtuber that was going on.

Anycolor looks for indie vtubers that have experience with streaming already.
Cover considers resumes outside of vtubing (literally says you need to be successful in some capacity) and thinks you can learn to stream on the job.

As for the rest, the community that draws vtubers, especially EN vtubers, is a closely knit one.
