>>11255636> do whatever you like.I think the difference is generally how you conduct yourself on stream.
Being "idols" is a meme and kinda not for Hololive.
You're allowed to curse and be ironically lewd, but they weren't allowed to play NKODICE because management didn't want them saying dicks and vaginas.
As a Niji, you can do or say whatever (talk about past relationships, sex escapades, be as crass as you want), and the only consequences you face are from your audience.
Hachaama is allowed to do gross cooking and "horror" videos, but you'll never hear her talk about her period or if she lost her virginity in Australia.
Frankly, that's TMI and I prefer it this way.
There's also no expectation for you to stream consistently as a Niji and you can drop in/out whenever you feel like, whereas you're expected be an employee for Hololive.
We can discuss if it's a good idea and how it affects numbers, but there is some difference in terms of "creative freedom" between the companies.
Most Nijis don't use it tho because unsurprisingly, most viewers aren't into overly crass or niche content, unless you're good at it like Coco and Mito.
