Call me a nihilist, but it's important to remember that for every success story there's dozens of people who couldn't reach that height
So, if the end goal is your own reason, then no, it is not worth it. As cliché as it is, the journey is what's important. Do you want to look back on life, thinking about what could've been forever, or give it a shot, fail and at least look back and smile?
Imo, it's hard to fuck up so bad it's unrecoverable. As long as you've got a roof over your head and food in your stomach, why not try something?
