Well I do appear there every now and them when she streams, but yeah, there's not much room for discussion most of the time since it usually ends up in a shitstorm one way or another (and just like that other anon I also have my suspicions on why) but yeah, I love Finana and she's definitely one of my favorites. Things like this make it really evident how lacking in experience Finana actually was/is, she really didn't seem like she knew how to balance her lewd self and normal self well enough to prevent the more "outrageous" one from being the dominant, most well known one, combined with her hesitance to showcase other talents of her more frequently and her stumbling for a good while at the begginning and her inabiluty to reing in the chat made it pretty easy for her community to become the way it is and unfortunately you often don't learn better until shit hits the fan, at least now she is learning and trying to fix those issues.

You can find some pretty good threads for a lot of games but all it takes is a few bad apples to ruin it and the absolute lack of moderation just enables those extremely unhinged subhumans to run free and shit whatever thread they pick to their hearts content because absolutely nothing and no one can stop them.

The video in question is some PV from March this year they did with the characters wearing bunny outfits but the chinese got mad the PV was for the global server and not for them so they made up some big drama and got mihoyo to apologize. The video itself was taken down from the official account too but it was pretty unpopular and failed to meet any of the view milestones so I doubt anyone at mihoyo was sad to see it go.
Barely anyone outside 4chan remembers the drama anymore but /vg/ being /vg/ means it gets brought every day since it's the land of reposted shitposts and the same idiots want her to reply or interact with the video to open that can of worms again and drag her into several months old drama.

I mean looking back Pomu and Elira were always the most stand out of Lazulight, and certainly the most talked about even back then, Finana didn't have the best of starts and didn't make very good first impressions and she took a while to find her footing and start improving and getting eyes on her, whereas Pomu and Elira started pretty well and didn't really let up, helped that they also did other stuff like singing, drawing and even JP streams in Elira's case and other stuff like Pomu's schizo minecraft that got more eyes on them while Finana didn't really do anything particualrly eye catching as far as my memory can recall, so it's not surprising that she ended filling the "Least Popular" spot for Lazulight, she was in a wave with two experienced and skilled vtubers that played their cards pretty well while she herself was pretty inexperienced and slow starting.

Catching up on some VODs that I missed. At the end of Outlast 2 Part 3, Pomu said there was something that she forgot to do that day (Thursday), had to take Friday off to do it (cancelled Potaku stream), and couldn't say what it actually was. That last one seems important, because if it was an irl work thing, family thing, or a medical thing, she probably would have said as such. So, makes me think it's something related to NijiEN. And I believe she said in a later stream that she actually called out of irl work that day as well, right? (Or was she referring to this coming Friday?) Could it maybe, finally, be a Palette cover for Pomu that she had to record? It's been almost 4 months since T&E...

I do know that Pomu and Selen were working on something together over the past day or so, but I suspect it was related to Nijiscenario, and not related to what Pomu had to do last week.

Yeah most JRPG's would just be bad in general, especially after what you've said with her getting burnt out a bit with a heavy story based game in which she has to read and voice act everything. If it's a RPG just keep it to around ten hours to complete or so. I think Binding of Issac will be excellent or other modern rogue lites since there is a bit of audience participation on what certain things do and if she should pick a certain thing up along with some unfair or over powered things you can do.

Yeah, it sucks, but fortunately there's been a rise in general NijiEN clippers, so there are still new Pomu clips getting pushed out. Probably better than having just one dedicated clipper, since it means the same "scene" will be on multiple clip channels, increasing the chance of it getting viewed and picked up by the algorithm.

I stumbled upon her Youtube and Twitch channels in her past life, but didn't really watch her (I followed Pomu's PL). All I really recall was a VOD on Twitch in a zatsudan-like setup (upper part of her model on one side of the screen, chat box on the other side, and the stream overlays were dark purple). Pomu, Petra, and Rosemi give me the impression that they've been fans of Nijisanji for years, with definite favorites and knowing older Nijisanji references. Not that it's a necessity to joining nijiEN, since I like that everyone gets into Nijisanji in their own reasons, but I would say those three are "diehard" fans.
Although saying it like this I would also put Reimu here with how she's talked about Nijisanji in her zatsudans.

Sounds about right, I get the same impression.
The rest of the girls didn't particularly care about the company, they just saw an english branch for a big japanese agency and applied to see if they'd get in so they are grateful for the chance but they weren't "fans" before.

And yeah, I hope we get a degen endurance streamer. I was reading the Shizurin and Hajiki interview and they talked about streaming late at night because not many JP livers streamed at that time. Could really use someone like that to fill the niche for nijiEN.
Elira could be that person if she embraced the bad sleeping schedule, but I understand not wanting to.
