>>1296144i just summarised it for you newbies, intentionally generalising it, cause das is the most famous and popular game in the genre. nioh is basically das because of the stamina management. technically, the fast and comboable version of das. if you wear a mid or heavy armor, you basically need to repeat hit and run tactics to beat a boss like you do in das or des, unless you use an onmyo skill called sloth which can make everything easy in the game. i was doing no damage to hard bosses like yukionna, white tiger etc with only a kanata and no equipment.
its nowhere near sekiro which doesnt have stamina anyway. also noels nioh skills are very good as first playthrough. her skills are more then the average nioh player have dramatically improved compared to her das playthrough. she has yet to use a tsukumo in the boss fights.
