Council basically is greek/gnostic creation theory mixed with some weird fuckery. The "Gods" created council after a conflict happened. With Chaos being there since the beginning hence why Bae is the chairwoman for them. Kronii despite being a fucking nerd is a sadistic time warden who spread her influence on nature/life. Sana then promptly throws hands with Kronii. Civilization is the only man made avatar.
The Ancient Ones are not the same as the "Gods" that created council. That is why Sana is now a apostle for them. Fitting since Lovecraftian beings basically exist outside of natural existence.
Amelia has stolen/borrowed Kronii's watch. There's also all the lore that Ame talks about because she seems into it but I won't get into that. It all loosely connects but it's very schizo tier storytelling.
