One of the problems is that the server has some performance issues and bugs, mainly because of the modpack they use, which they've already complained about numerous times.
This is indirectly related to the number of players on the server. The more custom shit they add, the worse it gets.
This leads me to believe, the admin of the server decided they should limit somehow who they invite, because it might get out of control quickly (as is already started in the beginning).
I don't know how they agreed it should be decided, if the girls got some quota of people to invite etc. but that might be a reason why they don't just give out invites to anyone they know.
So being on a mc server is a good indicator to consider someone a +, but I think that's not an "if and only if" relation, because they might have someone who the girls want to invite, but just can't because of rules they've made for themselves
