>>140789>Believe what you wantAlright, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
>I don't think so. I think you're being paranoid. But I'm not, that's exactly the situation we're in. Do I believe the feds are going to be busting down every users door? Absolutely not, don't paint me that way. Do I believe 4chan can face legal troubles due to the political climate at this time, and as a result of roommates? Of course.
>The hands off approach is better. If you start enforcing a rule like "no vtubers", you have to go through the trouble of figuring out where to draw the line. Like, what happens if Marine's song in a Touhou game is mentioned. Does that get moved? There's no trouble at all, if Marine's song is in a touhou game, that is not a free pass to start spamming it in /jp/. If we're going by that logic, shut down this board right now and keep everything in /jp/ that originates or has any single connection to a Japanese company because that loose connection is valid enough by your reasoning. It is not a good enough connection, and the simple matter is if the vtuber hobby has a board, then it should move there. MLP, I really can't believe I'm about to type this, is proof enough that if an interest has it's own board, then it should be in that board and that board alone. If not, then there's no reason to keep them in their own board. There's really no trouble in defining lines. The only time I could see something like that occuring is if ZUN makes a hololive game with touhou elements in it. But then we'd default to
>is it vtuber? Then it goes to /vt/. There's more than enough room here. There's quite literally no reason to keep them there, when the only reason people are squatting on /jp/ is because they don't want to open one more board.
