It's hard to say how much of it is trying to stay in character and keep their real life separated, and how much of it is not wanting to offend their more hardcore fans who have never dated by throwing their "raiju" nature in their fans faces. But unlike many other vtubers with other companies or solo, Holomem almost never talk about ever having been in any kind of relationship. The one instance I know of is Matsuri talking about dating a girl once a long time ago, and that was a pretty big blow up clip because of how rare that kind of talk is in Hololive.
Not saying Hololive needs relationship talk or something on the regular, but the glaring lack of it still shows that the idol culture and expectations still exist to a degree.
