>>13506035I mean, it depends. If you look at the model of someone like Hachi, who's more akin to IRyS in her weekly karaokes then AZKi who's a ghost a good portion of the time, or other vsingers like Harusaruhi and Ciel, IRyS has released the same amount of covers in her 4 months of activity at 4, which is also is pretty much on par with AZKi's amount. However, they largely do release singles as they come out, which helps to drive engagement by keeping them on people's minds instead of having periods where they lie relatively forgotten, which is somewhat happening to IRyS since she put everything out in her first month and nothing since.
While cranking out a monthly cover would help a lot, there's no real good reason to sit on tracks to wait for an entire album, especially almost the entire album's contents. Suisei, as example, had half of her album as things that she'd previously released over the years not even including the massive outpouring right before it's release date, and yet she still topped the album charts for sales. Kaf releases the majority of her songs as YT singles, even if they aren't up for sale before the album comes out. Constant engagement is much better for discoverability in the virtual age, so she would be much better served following Mori's model of a monthly song or two instead of trying to have one big moment. AZKi does hers the way that she does because she's much more of a musician then a streamer, so it hurts her less to follow that release pattern but even then it would probably boost her numbers if she was to trickle content out instead of disappearing for months.
