I'm so highly confused by what the fuck Yokomeshi is supposed to be now. I thought it was just a small group thing to help shill everyone more or less passively but it seems that Yozo had other plans. The new members are kinda weird tho. Before you had multiple partners from the get go, so you could share a lot of viewership whereas the new ones are /here/ tier and Yozo/Eros are the only old ones that stayed on. I remember Yozo talking about some kind of ambition she had for the group, I hope she's been more transparent about it with the new batch.

Are your viewers chatty enough where they can drive the conversation, and you are more responding & asking them questions? From that approach viewers do the heavy lifting, and you can bring your own personal experiences to the conversation as they naturally come to you instead of having to think of something nonstop on the fly. One big catch though with the reigns handed over like that, no telling where your viewers will go with a convo so immediate discipline and bonks will be necessary. Those should be a given though for any streamer.

Both parents know. My mum's a self-employed glass-blower, so she's a fantastic resource to bounce ideas of for the more artistic side of things. My dad's a retired CEO for an IT consultancy firm, so he's a fantastic resource to bounce ideas for growth. They're both relatively supportive of it when it comes up in conversation, but neither watches

I remember Vivi talking about filing taxes for it a year or so back, and trying to find an accountant who could deal with this sort of income stream in Ausland. Eventually she found one that works with camgirls, because that's a very close style of employment/income.

1. I prefer YouTube, even though I stream on Twitch. YouTube is easier for me to navigate and I prefer VODs over Streams.
2. Guess I answered that one above. In terms of streaming, YouTube is bad and boring. But it's also not owned by Bezos. I don't like him.
3. If YouTube implemented 3rd party stuff more and things like Raiding, I would switch. Discoverability on YT is not so good.
4. LzySusan's 2k anniversary stream and her speaking like a Jersey Valley Girl for so long.

I prefer Twitch as a viewer due to the speed of chat. I like being able to comment quickly on the stream, YT has an awful lag, plus it's just not good for finding new streams or supporting them. To switch they'd need to fix the lag and add some discoverabilty options in there.

Well i think that if youtube wanted to compete with Twitch it would probably need a little bit of a change in UI and perhaps more focus on viewer rewards? i'm not sure. 1. Twitch all the way. People wont find your stream on youtube unless you already have a fanbase somewhere.
2. Twitch has emotes and point redeems. Also, gift subs and all this other stuff helps more when you are small.
3. If Youtube makes streams be recommended and easy to browse through from the homepage, I'd jump in a heartbeat.

1,2- Twitch. I'm so used to it now, the layout is way better than youtube. Twitch got its own "culture" with the way things work, and I personally like a lot of it. Emotes (gif emotes now) are just way better there and its a very important part to me as a viewer. Its easier to navigate whos live, raids help me discover newer streamers, supporting chuubas (to me) is easier than and the options are varied.

3- Youtube's layout and discoverability are godawful.

4- My oshi's singing stream.

I do do some practical stuff. I cook, can do some basic carpentry, and can do basic home-maker electrician/plumber stuff that I learned from my dad, and I like to lift things up and put them down.

I do need a better hobby in my spare time to actually develop myself more, but weightlifting takes a LOT of spare time.

Youtube needs to add raids, as for twitch I don't know, twitch seems very customisable, it is honestly the better platform the only problem is the users. and the general site culture.

I got used to the redeems, honestly. I don't love them, especially when they interrupt the stream a lot, but some can be fun! Like Letania on Dark Souls or Megaman, or changing outfits on others. What's best is when they set it up to happen automatically, the less friction the better.

THIS is my biggest issue with YouTube! It feels like they punish streamers almost. They do boost you a bit but only when you are actively streaming, it seems. No idea why they push streaming but do not seem to give it a favorable algorithm.

Oh that is a great question. I honest to God wish I could somehow program some visual novel cyoa thing where it was all coded into the API and automated based on chats input.
I am trying to think of other things, but honestly... I am not a fan of super high production quality I think. I tend to watch very plain streamers.

Meaning they can comment but they messages never get trough. It was such a huge deal that even kiara from hololive tried to get it fixed for "her" fans (most other en girls had their audience suffer from it) by contacting youtube but it really didn't work.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Miss, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, she kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Miss, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the roundmeals and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each meal and put them in a bag and started to say the price, she kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I had periods like this too, then realizing I am just me and that I just needed to grow up a bit more. I do not think exploring the concept of an inversed sex avatar is transgender-focused. People have been making gender bends out of curiosity or "is the grass greener?" syndrome for ages. The need to voice train or something for it could be seen as questionable, but either way. I think it's important to have some kind of distinguishing attribute. Take for example a random 2view I stumbled on who's playing through the entire Halo series for the first time on legendary. She's not particularly amazing at the game but her sheer determination is very impressive to me, I try to offer tips where things aren't very well explained by the game but that's about it. She also memes some which is an instant plus for me because I'm total memetrash.

But basically every streamer makes it a big deal and lays of praise for hitting it because "it makes a community" and its kind of annoying. Especially because viewers come in with the expectation you'll lather them with praise for following and will start whining when you don't.
