I know how potentially exploitative this industry is, I used to be a fan of Matsuri after all, but I came here from /jp/, I've done my reps, and have been consuming Japanese media and culture for literal decades. If you're claiming loli/shota characters, media, and art aren't intrinsically linked to Japanese otaku culture, you're fucking stupid. And nearly every one of these girls is an otaku. Go watch Nene's UOH moment or Matsuri talk about Geiger Counter or Watame talking about how much she enjoyed working at a kindergarten or Pikamee talking to Iofi about the best age of when REAL girls are the cutest (they agreed 8-12 btw). Hell, go watch non-Vtuber Japanese creators on youtube talk about this stuff. It's common across genders and ages. After how much evidence and at what point does one eventually just have to sit back and think, "Wow I think they're for real into it."
