Holos used to basically play whatever they wanted, including mods, like Aqua playing Sekiro with the Minato Aqua mod
Mio was streaming ghost trick or something and someone on a japanese nijisanji thread pointed out that the border on the screen was proof she was playing on an emulator
ninjisanji fans (japanese ones) sent complaints to nintendo or capcom or whoever and Mio got a copyright strike
Somehow she ended up with 2 strikes, which means one more and her channels done for
she was put on suspension while every other holo's channel was scrubbed clean of all almost all game vods (all videos were privated except by Subaru's manager, who for some reason DELETED all her VODS)
this is what we call the holocaust, hundreds of vods were fucking gone overnight (alot of them are back but theres a website to see percentage of privated videos that were brought back)
management had to go through each game the girls had played and get explicit permission from the license holders before they put the vods up
Now they dont take chances and do their autistic permissions thing before any girl can stream any game
most SONY games are basically never going to happen because SONY owns nijisanji's parent company, and why would they assist the competition
so when Mori says "never ever" for permissions, its likely they asked and were straight-up told "no"
