>>15726315>>15726635>>15726553art is undoubtedly subjective, and whether you like something or not isn't something that can be controlled, but if that were the end-all be-all, art would just be a bunch of people doing random abstract shit to see if anyone thinks it would look good. the reason there are artistic movements and general rules of art is because, even though liking a piece is subjective, there are objective aspects to making any work of art look good. things like perspective, proportion, lighting, style, etc. are things we constantly measure, even if we aren't trying to. on an objective level, in terms of the things mentioned before, the animation is way above average. you can have a distaste for the overall style, assuming it just isn't your type, but taking into consideration what i mentioned, you make yourself look like a bumbling tasteless retard trying to call it "shit" or "tumblr". its less like saying a garbage dish is bad and more like saying a dish is bad because it has onions and you have the palate of a toddler
