>>16115669Having some generic songs is alright, even Suisei has some songs that are just decent. The issue with Watame and IRyS in my opinion is more an issue with release order.
If Watame released Mayday Mayday as the followup to Cloudy Sheep, she could have build up more momentum so she could power through the generic releases. Instead she released 4 comparatively weaker songs in-between.
With IRyS, if HCH was the debut single or even the second single, she would have had a lot more momentum but the choice to go CoD > diorama > HCH killed the chances of the youtube version of HCH doing well. SoJ is also a pretty weak followup that will kill the next single even if it's good unless she releases alongside a special event like her half-year anniversary or her outfit reveal to offset it.
