Anyone taking vtubers at face value are beyond retarded.
I immediately assume vtubers have boyfriends until proven otherwise.
I immediately assume vtubers are lying through their teeth until proven otherwise.
I immediately assume they only care about their fanbase's money until proven otherwise, all with visible facts not "real talks".
I've been on the side of laughing at goslings, being a gosling, an unicorn, and a casual watcher.
I don't watch vtubers that much nowadays and definitely don't plan on spending a dime on them ever again. This is the future we chose and I accepted it, but I'm not getting fooled again.

If she wasn't there would be many other, better, more respected, more profiteable avenues of entretainment that she could use, with some exception (namely Holos, Holos make enough money that the "more profiteable" part is no longer true).
Not saying they're all e-girl gremlins irl but they're it's not unlikely for one to be either.
