I understand completely her circumstances so I never really want to blame her for the situation she's in, and yet I can't help but think about all these other chuubas who still did their reps (uto, pochimama, a-chan, all of 6th gen) and how much they improved in the past year. But at the same time I wonder how much progress she could have actually made, I know botan has said she studies english quite often in her free time, but frankly it doesn't feel like it's improving much.

Anon, I don't know if you've noticed, but Towa's not very smart, especially academically. Her Japanese isn't very good either. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that she had some kind of learning disability. Even if she were super interested in learning either language and she had nothing else going on I think she would really struggle with it.

In seriousness, playing in pubs is different than playing in comps. The hardest skill to nurture in competetive team game are giving good callouts/order confirmation, and to a degree of importance, team morale. Of course raw aim is something you look out for in an FPS game, but hiring players with god aim on your team won't guarantee you victory. This is proven in Valorant and CSGO tourney when team poach players.

Got back from watching the apex stream for earlier. She talked about how if she doesn't play apex every day she gets rusty.
She was trying to say she was "nervous" in english and was in a slump. She is playing apex off stream, so I think we shouldn't worry too much. That's a good sign. If she has some good games I could see her giving it another try on stream again soon.

I mean, the way she described it, she pretty obviously seems depressed. No motivation to play any of her favorite games, doesn't even feel like eating anymore because she can't think of any food she actually wants to eat, always tired but not actually sleeping. I actually like when the live version of a song is notably different than the studio recording. Obviously the ideal would be that they both be "good" in their own way and not have one be demonstrably better than the other, which I kind of think is the case with my roar, but it just gives more to look forward to in her lives I guess.

I do really wonder what her motivation is for streaming right now though, since it really seems like she shouldn't want to stream given everything she talked about. I just hope she's not forcing herself to stream, I know she's said in the past she doesn't, but Towa also doesn't always take her own advice. Towa in particular seems to have a few particular things on her mind, I think probably the most annoying thing for her is the fact that things she wants to do get hampered by one reason for another (kind of like what Mio prophesized although maybe the wrong month) not to mention the 'rona related depression that everyone feels. It might also just be that all of her usual friends are busy (bunch are moving/finishing up school/other things) and so she feels lonely. Anyways I wouldn't be worried, Towa will take breaks as needed.

There's definitely no reason why he couldn't, so if he doesn't it's simply because he doesn't want to.
Towa was going to play with Dogma (while he was still part of RIDDLE) during scrims once as a sub for Selly, but then Selly ended up being able to play so it never ended up happening.
