I am an avid thinker and I think that there is nothing wrong with thinking, in fact, thinking is good for you and I. For example, just what is the difference between a bad thought and a good thought? An honest thought. If you are thinking about something that is not true or maybe not good, it becomes an dishonest thought because you are being dishonest to yourself or maybe to others. It is good if we think about good things and bad things and try to get it right.
It is the thinking that separates us from the animals. Animals only act or react, they cannot think. As you think and make your mind a tool for good, it can become a positive or negative tool.
Thinking can help you out in many ways. You can think about good things or bad things, positive things or negative things, and try to find the truth between the two or better yet, make it to be the truth.
The only negative thing about thinking is that if you are a pessimistic person, you may start thinking negatively and think things like "life sucks" and think about the bad in the world and just not be able to get out of that hole. If you are a pessimistic person and you think "I am a negative person," that may not be true. You may be a pessimistic person simply because you do not think about how to be positive, what to do about being negative, and think about the good in the world and do not think about the bad and just let the pessimism take control of you and that is not a good thing.
