The always-on discord channel style of streaming NinjiEN has been doing feels way more open than pretty much any streaming circle i've seen.
Ike for instance has been "on stream" for 6+ hours today, without ever streaming himself. Even streamer houses didn't live in each other's stream this much.
If this is how they're making their group work, guess member only collabs were just the next step. They even member each other already.

If you're a new viewer, coming in randomly, or from one of the many EN+other collabs lately, you'll be confused hearing 2+ other voices every other stream.
On the other hand, it's a good way to get new people instantly familiar with some of the others, and know that it's a bigger group.

If they don't want the voice chat they can just sit out of the open channels. Which they do when playing story based games usually.

The popping in chat they can't ignore as much since rrats will pop up that they did it on purpose. Chat is usually slower than Hol EN despite similar numbers, so it's not like you can get away with "didn't see them" too many times. I see how that can be awkward if you're a Rosemi, or a Baelz and Nina or Ollie bring you in a VC.

Unfortunately they pay jack shit. You could get a million views for your 5 second video and you get like $20. I'm still torn between them being somewhat useful on the offchance one blows up and gives you free low effort advertising vs them just gumming up your archive with junk content and spamming people who might be on the borderline of keeping you subbed. Aqua's translator was shadowbanned recently from aqua's channel. He returned back yesterday during aqua's stream until the latter half of the stream when he got shadowbanned again. His translations is visible again when aqua got her heirloom. So i am thinking viewers might be shadowbanned and restore and vice versa during a stream too.

Its anything less than 8 minutes that gets jack shit.
There have been quite a few videos about 3-4 minute videos with millions of views getting less than $200, while a 10 minute video with the same views would generate multiple thousands.
Its ~$3.5-4.5 per 1k views for 10+ minute vids, but payment is not linear to time. Its more an exponential growth curve of payment to time until it hits the 8 minute mark and slows, then flatlines at the 10 minute mark around ~$4.
A 1 minute video doesnt get 10% of what the 10 minute one does, it gets 1%.

One thing I've noticed is that while Luxiem seems to be very consistent they always seem to tap out at 10-11k when doing buff streams. They don't seem to have a super high ceiling. That one Ike karaoke is the only exception.

The power ranger wave was really weak.
The yellow doesn't stream much.
Red only does a bit well with musics.
Green had a lot of "she will be big" but got nowhere, even her music side crumbled.
Blue got the most support because "hero" and she was liked by others vtubers but really never got high, there we're special ocasions she hit big numbers but it was just a fluke.
Pink started slow, got some attention recently but didn't do much with it.

I think there is a big difference between the top JP and the top EN getting 45k and the top NijiENs getting 11k. I guess but I'm sure there are more people like me who loved the NijiEN girls and don't like how the males changed the entire dynamic. I started as a Holo fan, moved mostly over to Niji, and am now back to mainly watching Hololive and catching up on all the stuff I missed when I was watching Niji. My favorites are IRyS, Bae, and Mumei from the ones I didn't really watch at all when I was a Nijisis.

To be fair IRyS started the stream about 6 minutes late. We know that whenever streams start late it fucks up the waiting room recovery. Same thing happened on that stream where she didn't make back her waiting room the other day. Streams need to start on time for the waiting room analysis to be accurate.

idk man, even with animations off, when an opponent starts off his combos it usually takes 5min+, longer then if you hold any hard traps since you switch priority.
If I don't have any traps, hand traps and the opponent starts special summoning I usually just concede and move on.

This is the current Kronii sc breakdown:
- US is still pretty much HoloEN's territory
- KR is still pretty much HoloEN's territory
- EU is surprisingly high
- CA and SGD are high, but I don't know if these markets are Hololive dominant or Luxiem has infiltrated them.
- JPY is somewhat high.
