>>18135283>>18127501>>18127841You know, now that I think about it, I've seen an idol use a scandal to try and force a dude to marry her at least once.
There's this huge idol group, comprising several sub-groups from different cities all over Japan, called AKB48. They used to hold a yearly top-100 election (fans bought singles to vote, and the top 100 were given recognition), which was televised by FujiTV for iirc 4 hours every year, and was this huge event.
There was this girl, Suto Ririka from NMB48, their group from Osaka, who had grown in popularity, and ranked #20 in 2017. And she used her on-screen time getting her #20 award, to announce she was quitting the group because she was marrying some doctor.
Guy flaked though. Some tabloid released pictures of them going into the same apartment, but he was just fucking her, and she apparently tried to pressure him by doing that. So he dropped her ass, and she ended up going back into the industry, but as just a gravure model. And one of those "actresses" that take open-air onsen baths in late night TV.
What I mean by all this is, Rushia faking an accident to force her twink into marriage does sound a bit crazy, but I've seen something similar happen before, so maybe it's not that out there.
