Potential Undertale subs aside, I think she lets many potential heimins slip through her fingers because of how often she presents plans or things she wants to do only to let it fall into oblivion, sometimes after even having started them. For one, consistency is really powerful in bringing people in, but also, creating hope for something and not delivering it only reduces trust and frustrates people, so it also works to drive people away. I mean, you can't be a heimin for long if you're not willing to be understandable about this kind of thing on a regular basis. Don't get me wrong, it's not as if Kanata doesn't work hard to deliver what her fans want, she wouldn't have such a loyal fanbase otherwise, it's more of an issue of her too often creating unrealistic expectations, and overestimating her own capacity and motivation. Though, even if it sounds contradictory, her hardheadedness is probably one of the things that make me like her.
