It's a good thing that HoloEN takes frequent breaks. Ame also mentioned that most if not all of HoloEN doesn't wear a mask or put up an act and their IRL personality is the same as their online one, added with some lore ingredients. Yeah, I think its the best one out of all of them. She fucking nailed it.

Also, get the number rot out of your head. It hit 200k after about 2 days which is a much better performance than her originals. Will probably be at 300k by the end of the week and could hit 1 million in a month or so. This song is a hit for her.

What she needs is to do more song covers on her own and put her foot down if Cover is too damn anal to let her do so. Song covers help with discoverability since they will be spread to the likely audience that watches the many covers of the same song.

generally those that make those comparisons are the ones who began with hololive and then changed to nijisanji over time, so in a lot of cases they compare it.
With NijiEN a new round of those fans began to appear, even though many of those only really know anything about nijien and not nijisanji in general.

For IRyS alone I’m sure they would but they have 10 other talents in their roster in the branch and how many in the others.
This plus what I replied above about “music label” brings me to another point: I’m not sure what was the plan when debuting IRyS as “Project Hope” mid cycle in the EN branch was supposed to achieve.

She’s a very entertaining streamer, I recall watching her first (four hours long) MC stream and thinking

This was the same with Suisei but she still decided to do her one cover a month plan while also streaming relatively frequently. Covers absolutely help with growth, but I also admit that Suisei's design made her very marketable whereas Irys got the shorter end of the stick. One random cover Suisei put on twitter was what got Arte Refact to notice her and make NCP for her. Putting it all on streaming reps just isnt giving Irys all of her options
