I've honestly never seen ENG male vtubers on yt/twitch ever besides the jap hololive & asian boys.
I know the english speakers/straemers exist, It's obvious they are just constantly getting buried.
I've just been wondering why there's nobody ever posting any of them here. since you guys like to dig for new upcoming streamers in the category.

The problem that male vtubers have is that there's simply no market for them, unlike female vtubers having an avatar does nothing from them, most people already have their select group of male streamers that they like because there's a male streamer for literally anything someone could possibly be into, and if said hobby is fairly popular then there's bound to be a fairly popular male streamer for that hobby

You could easily say the same about the content female vtubers produce and female streamers though? I mean the image of female streamers might be e-thots or whatever. But I am sure you can find plenty of them that produce more or less exactly the same kind of content stream wise. It's not as if the female vtubers are all playing extremely obscure games super skillfully. It's just the same thing thousands of other females do but with an anime avatar.

Also something about this that doesn't make sense to me, if this market for male vtubers supposedly doesn't exist because everybody would just watch male streamers that already exist and do it better, why is it that when male vtubers enter apex tournaments with pro level IRL apex streamers its always the male vtuber that gets the most viewers despite often being majorly outclassed when it comes to the game itself?

The problem with male vtubers is they try to be male version of female vtubers. NOW, if they took the "regular streamer with an avatar" route, they would be far more successful because they would appeal to people who watch regular streamers.

it’s the same reason there isn’t as much fujoshi content period. Fujos are the most niche of a subculture as you can get. There are probably less than 1000 fujoshi in the entirety of America. They do not constitute a large enough fanbase to he relevant.
