>>20804250Ame is too big to fail at this point. She got her fanbase addicted in 2020 by putting out schedules with 12-14 streams every week and streaming more than Kiara.
Then in 2021 (january-july) she slowed down a bit but still kept up only behind Kiara.
The big shift to "project manager Ame" was in august after the break where she went to NY. Any long-time teamate knows there was a big change and she started taking at least a full week off in the months following that, but also she started delivering great things, you know which streams I'm talking about and they were not limited to the VRchat stuff.
In 2022 so far her streams have been better than the second half of 2021 in my opinion, seems like she's in peace with herself and not an anxiety bomb anymore, but she's streaming even less and AMT doesn't mean anything anymore since her streams are all late night.
Between potato breaks, the ones she actually need (like this one) and the days she just doesn't feel like streaming, I feel like a lot of tourists moved on and don't watch her anymore, but her core fanbase didn't budge, because of how good she is. Your comparison to Sana doesn't make sense because Sana didn't even stream enough to establish a solid fanbase like Ame did.
An extreme example that makes more sense is Ayame or Shion. They take a whole month off sometimes, but a ton of people watch them when they're back, because they have an established fanbase that will love them no matter what, and their streams are consistently good.
Of course I don't want Ame to stream even less, I just think she should slowly find her balance again now that she's in a new office, she had way too many problems in 2021, both health wise and due to her bad luck. Seriously fuck that office, shit was cursed.
