I'm not a fan of the trend towards over designed characters. someone already made this point in another thread but if you compare these designs to guras you can really appreciate how simple and to-the-point hers is. as in it's immediately apparently what she's supposed to be (shark girl). I can't really tell that that gray one is supposed to be a secret agent at first glance
