Cause I never found out about the story mode version and the multiple endings stuff until way later; I beat the angel through the arena mode
And hot damn was that the hardest boss in the game imo, by that time I had already beaten hard bosses like Nightmare Grimm, Zote, the uhhh white version of the Hollow Knight, Oro+Mato, Sly several times over without taking any damage
But that angel thing fucked me up and ruined countless runs over countless hours
So I'm surprised to see Kronii struggling more with Nightmare Grimm
