That's why people like Nina and Koopa will make it. It's not about the numbers, it's not about making it or being into hololive. Numbers are just a side effect of their characters, their hard work and even if I'm not an idolfag (or maybe I am) I agree with the sentiment that there is only one direciton and its up and forward. The journey is the reward and you will make friends along the way to help you.. as long as you genuinely want friends. Otherwise you just clout chase and the clout chasers will fuck you and dump you the moment they got their clout boost.

It's unfortunate, after the third one I stopped caring. It can still be fun but it needs to have actual interest with training arcs, not just a random collab.

I enjoy them. Seeing chuubas I like interact with each other is fun, and you often end up with memorable moments.
Though I must say as a viewer it can also be a bit stressful. I want to watch and support all of them, but multistreaming takes some effort now. Both youtube and twitch are hostile about this, what with YT not allowing embedding for smaller channels and twitch actively blocking you off if you try watching them through multitwitch or twitchtheater.

I did, found it very enjoyable. Very proud of seep. Aside from two planned chuubas having to drop out there were no technical difficulties either, which is great for a collab with that many participants. Got timewarped too, didn't even notice two hours went by that quickly.

I am extremely biased towards africat collabs. The L4D2 quartet was fantastic, but I think the Rose/Nina Portal 2 playthrough is still my favorite. I am really looking forward to Phasmo later today, even though I usually don't care too much for the game. Just hope everything goes well, tech-wise.

Still biased towards africats, mostly I just want to see them reach out more, make many friends, and find a large following. Neko has been showing up to Ari's chat a lot recently, would be cute to see them play together. It'd probably also be cute to see Rose and Catzii do some cat cafe rp collab, since that's Catzii's theme and Rose made herself an entire maid outfit for her avatar. Seeing them all together one day might be cute too, just because it's a such a coincidence that there's 4/5 south african catthemed vtubers out there.

It takes a lot of work outside the scenes to make a collab work out. Chuubas really have to think it through and most of them don't realize this. It work betters with friends you are already familiar with.

Valefor had 1k people on his debut and less than a hundred on his second stream. Twitter means shit if you want to talk abut viewership, debuts are very bad representation as well. Time will tell.

I don't really care about Vtubbers, as in, I don't watch them or anything like that, I still don't. Though through some circumstance I ended up here and thanks to some of these threads I found people with pretty cool voices. Going through some of their tweets as well, just looking at whoever else they engaged with led to find even more people, so that's cool.
Whenever I get around to making a proper project on something, I'll make sure to hire them as voice talents.

And I sure hope they don't get discouraged by low views or anything like that and give up, since I know how shit that can feel sometimes, as if there's no point or reason in continuing with it anymore. It's just how things tend to go online with shit like this really, and especially with Vtubbing already crossing into the oversaturated zone where pretty much everyone can do it now.

I think they're starting to get imposter syndrome after getting attention from large vtubers like Lumi. i think her content is really good and she can absolutely get by with it alone, she's just a bit too worried about holding on to the success now that they've gotten a taste.

Cover can burn for all I care, and they will, soon, but for now they are a welcome addition for diversity.

Why do you find it impossible for guys, as I said one of the purpose is roleplay and kayfabe. Even if slightly it sort of dissociates a person from the characer.
